On April 10, Philip Morris International (PMI) visited the Faculty of Economics, Business, and Tourism at ULPGC as part of its initiatives to enhance the employability of our students and graduates. The activity, organized by the Marketing area, brought together final-year students and graduates from different programs interested in learning first-hand about the professional opportunities offered by this international company.

During the session, the PMI team, led by Serena Prados, Human Resources Director, presented the company, its main strategic lines, its vision of a transformation towards a smoke-free future, and its strong commitment to innovation and sustainability.

The BOOST Program, a paid internship program whose next call will open in the coming weeks, was also introduced. This initiative offers graduates the opportunity to gain up to 12 months of initial professional experience in a multinational environment, with continuous training, rotations across different business areas, and opportunities for development and career progression.
The Faculty of Economics, Business and Tourism would like to thank Philip Morris International for its interest in ULPGC talent and reaffirms its commitment to strengthening links between academia and the business sector, and to promoting initiatives that enhance the academic and professional development of its students and graduates.
