Train in Mathematics for Economics and Business is a course aimed at students who are entering the University for the first time and who, for various reasons, have not been able to take or do not reach the minimum essential contents to follow some of the basic subjects taught in current curricula.
To achieve these ends, a Basic Mathematics course is proposed with a personalized follow-up of the students, organizing teaching in small groups. This course pursues:
- Provide new students with the minimum content essential to follow the disciplines with a high content in Mathematics, which could present a certain degree of difficulty.
- Homogenize the starting level of the students who take these subjects to acquire the knowledge and basic instrumental skills to complete the first university year.
Passing each course will allow automatic recognition in the student’s file of 3 credits, following section 1 of article 3 of the Regulations for the Academic Recognition of Credits for Participation in University, Cultural, Sports, Student Representation, Solidarity and Cooperation of the Students of the ULPGC.
