Recognition of the city council of Las Palmas de G.C. to D. Antonio Marrero

It is a pleasure to inform you that Dr. D. Antonio Marrero, University Professor (retired) and for a long time Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration (today the Faculty of Economics, Business and Tourism), will receive recognition from the City Council of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria as the adopted and favorite son of the city. The Honors and Distinctions ceremony will take place on June 23 at the Pérez Galdós Theater, within the framework of the city’s founding festivities.

The director of the CYD Ranking, Ángela Mediavilla, pointed out yesterday that the public universities of the Canary Islands stand out in certain fields of knowledge, which is important for those who are going to enroll.
