The Faculty of Economics, Business and Tourism took part in the 11th Education Fair “Awakening Vocations”, held on 28 January and organised by the Department of Education of the Santa Lucía de Tirajana City Council. The event took place in the surroundings of the Zafra Museum and the Municipal
Ateneo de Vecindario.
During the event, the Faculty presented the range of degree programmes it offers to Primary, Secondary, and Upper Secondary (Bachillerato) students from the municipality, encouraging interest in economics, business, and tourism. In addition, interaction with students was promoted through recreational
activities and educational games designed to introduce these subjects in a dynamic, participatory way.
The Faculty would like to thank María Martín and Valeria Moreno, students of the Degree in Economics and the Double Degree in Business Administration and Tourism, respectively, as well as Patricia Almeida and Yaiza Santana, doctoral students in the Tourism, Economics and Management programme at ULPGC, for their commitment and active participation in this initiative.
