The Spanish Economics Association has awarded the TFG to Andrés Vidriales, a graduate in Economics from the ULPGC

The Spanish Economics Association has awarded the TFG to Andrés Vidriales, a graduate in Economics from the ULPGC, in the VII edition of the TFG Award of the AEE.

This Award is open to recent graduates from all Spanish universities, and after the anonymous evaluation of the works by a jury of recognized academic prestige, the Association awarded five special mentions, among which is the work of the former student of Economics of the Faculty.

Andrés Vidriales’ TFG is entitled “Evolution of the conditional correlations between oil, the US dollar and energy stocks in the period 2000-2023” and was directed by Professor Dr. D. Jorge Pérez-Rodríguez from the Department of Quantitative Methods in Economics and Management.

The newspaper La Provincia reports today, January 20, 2025, on the publication of a study that associates Machiavellianism and psychopathy with cyber sexual harassment, a study that was carried out by FEET professors Margarita Fernández Monroy, Agustín J. Sánchez Medina and Inmaculada Galván Sánchez.

Presentation of business project in MUMCI course

Cristina Fernández Gil, Director of Oceanográfica, a Marine Science outreach agency that has managed more than 1,500 awareness-raising and communication actions providing services to projects in Europe, Africa and South America, presented, this Wednesday, January 15, 2025, her business project from the perspective of the Economy of the Common Good and the Sustainable Development Goals within the framework of the Corporate Social Responsibility and Social Marketing course at MUMCI (Master’s Degree in Marketing and International Trade) at the Faculty of Economics, Business and Tourism.

For the master’s students, this talk has represented a way to visualize the real implementation of the UN recommendations in terms of sustainability in a Canarian SME and the challenges that this entails in the current economic context.
