The University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria presented its new academic offer for the 2026–2027 academic year at a media event.

Among the new developments presented, the Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Business and Tourism (FEET) outlined the main features of a renewed educational offer designed to meet the current demands of the professional and business environment.

The update includes revisions to the content of all courses within the Faculty’s degree programs — Economics, Business Administration and Management, and Tourism — as well as the double degree programs in which they are integrated. This renewal will provide students with a more specialized education adapted to emerging professional profiles.

One of the main new features is the introduction of specializations within the degree programs.

In Business Administration and Management (ADE), the new specializations will include Accounting, Entrepreneurship in the New Economy, Finance, and International Business.

Meanwhile, the Degree in Tourism will incorporate the specializations in Hotel Management and Tourism Product Design and Development, available at both the Gran Canaria and Lanzarote campuses.

At the postgraduate level, FEET is launching a new Master’s Degree in Business Administration and Management (MBA), designed to strengthen global management skills and enhance transversal competences such as leadership, communication, and teamwork, while also incorporating highly relevant content aligned with current business needs.

In addition, the current Master’s Degree in Marketing and International Trade (MUMCI) is evolving into the new Master’s Degree in Marketing and Digital Strategies (MUMED) through a substantial curriculum update.

The renewed program offers training aligned with digital transformation, data analysis, and technological innovation. Its content covers key areas such as digital marketing, consumer behavior, neuromarketing, and machine learning applied to big data, all from a practical, employability-oriented perspective.

With this academic renewal, the Faculty of Economics, Business, and Tourism reinforces its commitment to innovative, specialized education aligned with the real needs of organizations and contemporary society.
