On Tuesday, March 17, 2026, the Faculty of Economics, Business, and Tourism at the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria hosted a talk titled “How to Design Marketing Campaigns That Work” in its Assembly Hall. The guest speaker, Dr. Igor Stojanovic, is the Director of Digital Marketing at Grupo.
ICOT and holds a PhD in Marketing from the University of Valencia.
The session took place as part of the Master’s Degree in Marketing and International Trade (specifically, the course Commercial Communication and Sales Management) and the Master’s Degree in Tourism: Digitalization, Innovation and Intelligence (specifically, the course Digital Communication).
During the session, Dr. Stojanovic shared his extensive professional experience and presented multiple real-world marketing case studies. He encouraged active student participation in tackling the challenges presented. His engaging and practical approach gave attendees direct insight into the processes and decision-making behind effective communication strategies.
Initiatives like this bridge the gap between the business world and the classroom, promoting applied learning and enhancing students’ professional skills.
The lecturers of both courses, Josefa D. Martín Santana and Lorena Robaina Calderín, extend their sincere thanks to Dr. Igor Stojanovic for his valuable contribution. They also thank the Faculty of Economics, Business, and Tourism for its support in organizing, funding, and providing facilities that make such practical training opportunities possible for postgraduate students.
