The Faculty of Economics, Business and Tourism at Universidad de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria continues to promote practice-oriented education closely connected to the business environment.

In this context, students from the Master’s Degree in Marketing and International Trade (MUMCI) developed a real-world case study for Carmencita focused on the launch of its new coffee spice line, Spice Coffee. The project was supervised by Carlos Pérez Miranda, a lecturer in Sales Management
course within the master’s program.

Throughout the project, students worked on identifying the most suitable distribution channels, designing proposals to support the product launch, and developing market-oriented positioning and communication strategies.

These initiatives allow students to engage with real business challenges, strengthen their strategic skills, and develop creative solutions for well-established brands.

The Faculty would like to thank Carmencita for its collaboration and willingness to participate in this educational project, and to acknowledge the commitment and involvement of Carlos Pérez Miranda in the MUMCI program and in the practical training of our students.
