The International Association for Tourism Cooperation and Development (ASICOTUR) has awarded Dr. Juan Manuel Benítez del Rosario, dean of the Faculty of Economics, Business and Tourism and President of Tourism Maspalomas Costa Canaria, Recognition of International Tourism Cooperation. This distinction was awarded to him at the International Tourism Fair (Fitur 2024).
