Local Management Trainee Program – Logistics

Paid Internship: 10 months

Bank of Spain Call for Applications: Training and Selection Process for Permanent Technical Staff

A call for applications has been published for a training and selection process for permanent technical staff. This process is aimed at recent graduates and does not require any prior preparation beyond the knowledge acquired during their degree studies.

The call has the following characteristics:

Candidates will be offered specialized training in central banking, finance, and monetary policy. Initially, 100 candidates will bese lected, of whom 65 will join the Bank of Spain, while the remaining candidates will obtain a master’s degree awarded by the Center for Monetary and Financial Studies (CEMFI).

The selection process for the 100 positions is based on the knowledge acquired during university studies and on a reasoning test.

The examinations will take place on July 11th.

Candidates will receive a monthly grant of €700, or €1,500 for those living outside Madrid. The aim is to attract talent from all over Spain and recruit the best students.

Internship application: Rural Campus Program-ULPGC 2026

This year, the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (ULPGC) is offering 5 scholarships for external internships lasting between 2 and 5 months, starting in June and ending before 16 November.

Application deadline: 22nd May.

The Rural Campus Program is an initiative developed by the Ministry for Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge, in collaboration with the Ministry of Universities and the Spanish Public Universities. It allows university students enrolled in any official degree program to undertake academic internships in local administrations, institutions, organizations, or legally established companies located in rural areas facing depopulation problems, defined as municipalities with fewer than 5,000 inhabitants.

The University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (ULPGC), with the aim of supporting and promoting the employability of its students, includes among its strategies the promotion of initiatives to foster external academic internships. In this context, and under the agreement signed with the Ministry for Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge for the implementation of the Rural Campus University Internship Program in Rural Areas, ULPGC seeks to promote, encourage, and develop student internships in rural areas affected by depopulation.

This external internship program is aimed at students who meet the following requirements:

  • Be a resident in Spain at the time of joining the host organization and maintain this status until the end of the internship.
  • Be enrolled in an official Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program at ULPGC during the 2025–2026 academic year and maintain this status until the end of the internship.
  • Have successfully completed at least 50% of the credits of the degree program in the case of Bachelor’s degrees.
  • Not having undertaken these internships during the previous academic year, unless applying from a different degree program, and places have not been filled by new applicants.
  • Meet the requirements to undertake external internships in accordance with Royal Decree 592/2014 of 11 July, regulating external academic internships for university students, as well as the specific ULPGC regulations on academic internships and the particular conditions of the internship applied for.
